A Market Natural Foods presented the first 'Bras Across the River' event. Many vendors, local artists, and over fifteen organizations that deal with breast cancer were there. Admittance was a $10.00 donation and a bra to hang up on the bridge. Proceeds benefited the
New Hampshire Breast Cancer Coalition,
Elliot Breast Health Center,
The Susan G. Komen Foundation and the
American Cancer Society. I spent the afternon volunteering at the N.H. Breast Cancer Coalition table handing out information for their wonderful services to women, and found time to hang up some bras.
